Zusammenfassung:In Japan, the law concerning reporting, etc of releases to the environment of specific chemical substances and promoting improvements in their management wax promulgated on July 13, 1999. Based on this law, business must report the amount of pollutant release and transfer to the relevant ministries. Their might be several potential problems with the first data, such as a misunderstanding of the system by industries, mistakes in calculation, errors made when filling out the forms, and constraints of the estimation methods.
