10 years of Genetic Resources and Crop Evolution—a bibliometric analysis of SCOPUS publications 2013–2022

In this study bibliometric analysis of the journal titled “Genetic Resources and Crop Evolution” is carried out for the period from 2013 to 2022. The present study was conducted with an aim to analyze the past 10 year research activity of the journal and characterize its most important aspects. The data for the analysis has been obtained from Scopus database which showed that 1621 documents were published by the journal from 2013 to 2022. The analysis is done in two parts viz. statistical analysis and network analysis. The statistical analysis mainly identified the most contributing authors, organizations, countries and funding sponsoring organizations. The network analysis examined the relationships between publications based on authorship, citations, organizations, countries and keyword co-occurrence.
