Zusammenfassung:The Indonesian government encourages PT. PLN (Persero) uses biofuel consisting of crude palm oil (CPO) and biodiesel that is regulated by Regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources number 12 of 2015. The use of CPO and biodiesel for the Gas Power Generation Center (GPPC) was stopped due to GPPC reliability issues, so biofuels focused on the Diesel Power Center (DPPC). This research was conducted with the aim of calculating the potential use of biofuels in PLN and Analyzing the comparison of DPPC electricity supply costs with biofuels and High Speed Diesel (HSD). The methodology used includes a descriptive analysis of the cost of electricity supply (COE) in the DPPC with an operational database and the average price of HSD, CPO, and biodiesel in 2018. The result is the potential CPO fuel is 241 units; the projected electricity production is 4,297 GWh. The potential of biodiesel or B100 is 2,472 units, the projected electricity production is 26,176 GWh. COE based on calculations is the average price in 2018 showing that the median and average COE per kWh of CPO are relatively lower than COE per kWh of HSD or biodiesel.
