Zusammenfassung:The process of urban development is constrained by rising carbon emissions. It is an effective way to realize sustainable development to explore the changes and influencing factors of urban carboncarrying capacity. Twenty-four indicators closely related to urban carbon-carrying capacity were selected to establish a carbon-carrying capacity evaluation system including economic, society, environmental, and resource aspects. The change in carbon carrying capacity in Anhui Province from 2011 to 2020 was analyzed by the weighted gray correlation analysis-TOPSIS method. The results have shown that although the carbon-carrying capacity level in Anhui Province has been increased year in recent years, it is in overload status and the carbon deficits are serious. Anhui Province's carbon-carrying capacity is affected by the element layer from the largest to the smallest sequence, resource carrying capacity system, social carrying capacity system, environmental carrying capacity system, and economic carrying capacity system.
