Zusammenfassung:Although applied nuclear energy technology is constantly improving, the threat of radioactive contamination has always been inevitable. The decontamination coating method is a new nuclear emergency decontamination technology. In this study, a smart strippable polymer coating containing EDTA and Bromo-PADAP as color detectors was designed to detect and remove the contaminant containing uranyl nitrate. The smart polymer coating changes from purple to brown due to the absorption of contaminants, which shows a high color difference of about 47. The results of an evaluation of FT-IR, TGA/DSC, and liquid scintillation tests well prove the presence of uranium ions in the coating. Decontamination factors in this coating have been shown to be above 99% at 2000 ppm of uranyl nitrate hexahydrate. The two types of glycerin content and polyvinylpyrrolidone polymer with different weights investigated. Finally, the PVA/6K90 polymer solution was obtained with optimal formulation and flexible film.
