Zusammenfassung: | Wayang, as an art of high quality (noble), is able to convey moral messages on the virtues of life. Efforts to develop modern art today certainly require its own challenges in presenting this classical culture in today's conditions, especially for generation Z who have different visual tastes and have several distinctive characteristics that are physically equivalent to digital and happy to do do it yourself work. The wayang in the Babad Wanamarta story, which describes the struggle of the Pandawa as a teenager in fighting for their dreams, is the inspiration for the design of these new wayang structures. Qualitative research methods assist in collecting primary data on the types of wayang along with their anatomical features and clothing accessories through documentation, observation and deep interviews with wanda wayang experts, and distributing questionnaires to the target audience of children. This research then goes through the experimental stages of various visual approaches inspired by the Pandawa wanda Jaka by using the theory of evolution of the proportions of the wayang Purwa Sukasman. The result of this research is the Pandawa's new structure and visuals that were created especially for children's visual tastes. The new wayang structure design will be used to create merchandise such as an activity book that encourages children to play while learning and serves as a communication bridge for the introduction of wayang culture. |
