Zusammenfassung:This is the first time the electric field energy has been captured from Iraq's national grid's 132kV high-voltage transmission lines (HVTL). For harvesting the discharging current of line capacitive electric field energy, a square conductor plate is inserted between the power lines and the ground. The rectified charged voltage between the conductor plate and the ground surface is stored in a storage capacitor, which is used to store the collected electric energy. A low-power comparator is used in a power management circuit to harvest the stored energy. The circuit functions autonomously in response to the amount of stored energy. The experimental findings obtained under the real three-phase 132kV HVTL demonstrate that the linked capacitor charges quickly, indicating that it might be utilized to power low-power consumption equipment. With its simplicity, resilience, and cheap cost, the non-contact energy harvesting device proposed here is predicted to be extensively employed in power transmission, distribution, and grid monitoring applications shortly.
