Zusammenfassung:	The values of the molecular constants and thermodynamic functions of Sc 2 Cl 6 are chosen as a result of a critical analysis of experimental and theoretical data on the structure and vibration frequencies of the dimer of scandium trichloride molecules. From these, the composition of scandium trichloride vapor is calculated in the temperature range 800–1240 K. The thermochemical characteristics of Sc 2 Cl 6 were obtained are also refined for ScCl 3 .
