Zusammenfassung: | Adding nanoparticles into drilling fluid can improve its rheological properties, but the rheological properties of drilling fluid is lack of quantitative research. Therefore, the effect of modified silica particles on the performance of oil-based drilling fluid was studied quantitatively in this research. The properties of oil-based drilling fluid at different temperatures, KCl and modified silica nanoparticle concentration were analyzed. In addition, the thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity of oil-based drilling fluid with adding nanoparticles were also studied. The results show that the addition of silica nanoparticles can improve the viscosity of drilling fluid at low shear rate. The increase of the concentration of KCI can reduce the dispersion of modified silica. There is an optimal concentration of modified silica nanoparticles in the drilling fluid. |
