A New Species of Aspidosperma Mart. (Apocynaceae) from Bahia, Brazil

A new species, Aspidosperma thomasii, collected in the vicinity of Urucuea is described. It belongs to subgenus Aspidosperma section Aspidosperma and is closely related to the A. parvifolium A. DC. group.
