Zusammenfassung:Conserving biodiversity is one of the great concerns for developing sustainable society. This study attempts to identify in what regions and what measures are effective to conserve the biodiversity by integrating economic, land-use and biodiversity models in a single modeling framework. More specifically, we implemented scenarios to change the dietary patterns and supply side measures such as yield improvement and efficient pasture utilizations. The results indicate that the dietary change in developing countries is effective to achieve the objective and not only large population countries like China and India, African and Latin American regions which has large area could have a significant role.
