Zusammenfassung:	The IR spectral features of coal determined for individual wavenumber intervals may be used in calibration of the properties of coal concentrates: the yield of volatiles, plastic-layer thickness, vitrinite reflection coefficient, and total content of fusinized components. Multidimensional data are analyzed. The precision of the calibration models permits rapid analysis of coal quality.
