Zusammenfassung: | Introduction To examine the role of sleep health in a school-based health coaching resiliency intervention for 6th grade students. We hypothesized that participants with insufficient sleep would have poorer mental health outcomes and that the intervention would be less successful for youth with poor sleep health. Methods A total of 285, 11-12-year-old students (72% white, 18% Hispanic, 55% female) participated in the six-week 1:1 Healthy Kids intervention. Youth completed electronic surveys at baseline and 6-week follow-up assessing mental health parameters and self-reported bed and wake time.
