Zusammenfassung: | The Sun is a significant factor in our wellbeing, and too much sunlight exposure can cause health problems ranging from sunburns to skin cancer. Skin cancer has become a rising health problem for humans. While people are aware of these dangers, skin damage associated with sunlight has increased in the last decades. Nowadays, the public uses weather forecasts to gain knowledge about UV radiance. The author provides rough and average forecasts for a certain wide area. This paper presents a method that can calculate UV radiance using UV sensors that will detect the radiation and operate with a 300 nm wavelength to mitigate the effects of natural background radiation. The sensor offers promising sensing results at low and high UV levels with rapid response and regeneration times respectively of 22s and 39s. Additionally, the author can monitor and view the precautionary measures to be taken by using a Raspberry Pi and LCD display. |
