Zusammenfassung: | Ethical issues often pose challenges for psychologists. Many specific issues addressed directly in Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct (American Psychological Association, 2017) may seem quite straightforward. However, other situations pose ethical dilemmas; perhaps no published principle clearly applies to these situations, two ethical principles conflict, or legal principles or social policy may conflict with our ethical principles, making the best ethical choice unclear. Interpretation and application of ethical principles may also be unclear when working with people from cultures with which we are not familiar. These challenging situations are at the heart of Ethics in Motion which is not about risk management per se, but, rather, good ethical decision-making in complex or confusing circumstances.
