Zusammenfassung: | The aim of this study is to develop an instrument to measure individuals’ sense of belonging to a family. A five-point Likert-type scale consisting of 17 items, which represents the sense of belonging to a family, was obtained. The scale was administered to 1579 university students from different universities in Konya. Before the principal component analysis, Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) and Bartlett’s tests were performed to assess the suitability of the data for factor analysis. As a result of these tests, the KMO value was found to be .96 and Bartlett’s test for sphericity value was found to be significant at 16943.875 (
