Zusammenfassung:Street lighting is an inseparable of the community environment, business activities, promotion, safety and security and aesthetics. Street lighting also has an important role in supporting community activities. Indonesia is located on equator is rich in sunlight. Sunlight energy can be converted into electric energy through solar panels. During the day the solar panel charge the battery releases electrical energy to the lamp. Research Methodology using : calculation of pole distance, calculation of street lamp power capacity. After getting the electric power of the lamp and the time of battery usage, the required battery electrical energy can be determined. The results obtained : pole height 7 m, lamp power 50 W voltage 12 V, pole distance 50 m, solar panel capacity 150 Wp, VLRA dry battery capacity 70 Ah, BCR capacity 15 A, light sensor capacity 6 A and timer switch capacity 6 A.
