Zusammenfassung:The relevance of studying behavioral disorders in children and adolescents with intellectual disabilities is determined by the fact that this problem is at the intersection of different disciplines (psychiatry, psychology, pedagogy, sociology, criminology), the fact that it is widespread, and the difficulties of analyzing the relationship between biological and social factors in the etiology of these disorders. This review discusses various aspects of behavioral disorders in children and adolescents with intellectual disabilities – prevalence, background, etiopathogenesis, and clinical features. The authors identify the need for a new approach to the classification of behavioral disorders in intellectual disabilities.
