Zusammenfassung: | Parvovirus B19 infection can rarely result in symmetric polyarthritis, Nevertheless, greatest infections in adults depending on serological testing for IgM antibody and IgG antibody against parvovirus B19. An ELISA test was performed on 87 patients, producing 29 (37.1%) positive results for IgM antibodies. Although the findings indicated that 42 (48.2%) of the people tested positive for type IgG antibodies. According to the findings of a PCR test for viral DNA in the samples; The findings revealed that 24 samples tested positive for viral DNA. The following are the outcomes for the control group:7 (7.7%), IgM, 12 (13.3%) IgG, and 7 (7.7%), PCR positive findings were observed in SLE patients, with statistically significant differences in positive rates as compared to healthy controls (P> 0.05). Conclusions: This study confirmed that the studied peoples is exposed to infection by B19, which stresses attention with its expressions, mainly among patients with immunosuppressed as Rheumatoid Arthritis. |
