Zusammenfassung:This paper presents the results of designing and tests of an aviation starter generator for small aircraft on the basis of a multidisciplinary algorithm, including parallel electromagnetic, thermal, and mechanical calculations. A pilot starter generator is developed on the basis of numerical calculations, which has been experimentally tested as a component of an aircraft engine. The differences between experimental results and calculations are lower than 5%, which confirms that the starter generator can be used as a component of an aircraft engine.
