Zusammenfassung:—Comprehensive information is provided on the physicochemical processes and technology for producing high-silicon alloys and their production waste. Data on the chemical and phase compositions of the resulting slags and dust are presented. The methods of using ferrosilicon fines formed during its crushing, namely, suspension casting with feeding of fines to a conveyor casting machine and briquetting, are described. The methods of using gas-cleaning dust for the production of silicon ferroalloys consisting of microsilica and carbon are overviewed.
