Zusammenfassung: | The paper is devoted to the development of architecture and creation of a new version of the software system to ensure the effective functioning of Network Operations Center of the National Research Computer Network of Russia (NOC NIKS). A description of typical tasks that are in the area of responsibility of NOC-class systems is provided, a brief overview of existing freely distributed software products, as well as tools that solving related tasks, is given. The current state of the monitoring and management system of NIKS is presented, listing the software solutions in use. The main attention is paid to issues of initial creation and progress in evolution of the modernized NOC NIKS system; its general architecture, composition and functionality of the developed modules, features of software implementation are described, systems external to NOC NIKS and ways to organize interaction with them are considered. The key directions for further development of the project and the monitoring and management system as a whole are outlined. |
