Zusammenfassung:A procedure is proposed for determining the thermal resistance of snow cover and the effective thermal conductivity of snow by ground temperature, air temperature, and snow cover thickness. Numerical experiments were carried out on a mathematical model to develop a procedure for determining the thermal resistance of snow cover and the effective thermal conductivity of snow. These experiments were used to determine the conditions of the applicability of the procedure. Under the conditions of Yakutsk, where the type of snow mass development is known, the model showed high efficiency.
