Zusammenfassung:Optical Frequency Combs In article number 2200224, Lukasz A. Sterczewski and colleagues present a mid‐infrared semiconductor diode laser that emits equidistant optical lines referred to as a frequency comb. The device compatible with battery bias offers 1 THz of optical coverage at 3.04 µm of wavelength with comb teeth spaced by 10 GHz. Narrow optical line widths enable free‐running dual‐comb spectroscopy with application potential for broadband and high‐resolution chemical sensing.
