/Berry dye) films is prepared with a solid state thin layer and the optical and some structural properties were measured. The prepared films showed an increase in absorbance due to the increase in the concentration of Berry dye. Also, due to the dyeing of these films the transmittance (79%) decreased. Energy gap decreased from 3.64 to 3.54 eV because increase in the concentration of Berry dye. The natural Berry dye is make a production of new levels in the band gap, which makes it easier for electrons to pass from the valence band to these local levels in the conduction band. All optical constants (α, n, k, Ɛ
