Zusammenfassung:New silanediamide complexes of divalent lanthanides with different metal-to-ligand ratios are synthesized: K[K(THF)][Yb(Me 2 Si(NMes) 2 ) 2 ] ( 1 ) and [Eu 2 (Me 2 Si(NMes) 2 ) 2 (THF) 3 ] ( 2 ) (Mes = 2,4,6-(CH 3 )C 6 H 2  = = mesityl). The compounds are isolated as crystalline phases 1 and 2·C 7 H 8 and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Compound 1 is an ate complex in which two silanediamide ligands are coordinated to Yb by nitrogen atoms in a chelate manner, and the potassium ions are linked with aromatic rings of mesityl substituents. In binuclear complex 2 , two coordination types of the silanediamide ligand are observed: μ-κ 1 N,κ 2 N and μ-κ 2 N,κ 2 N.
