Zusammenfassung:Natural metabolites produced by Basidiomycotina members are of great interest as medicines against several kinds of diseases. So the search for different fungal secondary metabolites is important as several of them acting as direct medicines or used in the pharmaceutical and medical formulations. The different sporophore collected during 2015 to 2019 was phenotypicaly identified as Fulvifomes fastuosus (Lév.) Bondartseva and S. Herrera. The mycochemical investigation of F. fastuosus extract shown the presence of several metabolites like Carbohydrates, Proteins, Amino acids, Lipids, Alkaloids, Cardiac glycerides, Flavonoids, Phenols, Terpinoids, Steroids, Sterols, saponins, Tannins, and Phosphate. The proximate composition evaluation is very much useful for standardization of F. fastuosus in powder form for the use in medicinal formulations. The antifungal activity of F. fastuosus extracts shown higher inhibition of soft rot disease causing fungal plant pathogens. For the second time the fruiting bodies of F. fastuosus was recorded from India. For the first time F. fastuosus was recorded as new host record and new record to Andhra Pradesh, South India. For the first time the several mycohemical bioactive compounds, proximate composition and antifungal activity of sporophore of F. fastuosus extracts was reported.
