Zusammenfassung:It has been experimentally shown that an increase in the intensity of a standing sound wave in the discharge tube results in a decrease in the gas temperature on the axis of the positive column of the argon discharge and an increase in the gas temperature on the tube wall because of the occurrence of vortex motion in the field of the sound wave. In this case, the radial temperature gradient decreases along the radius of the positive column.
