Zusammenfassung: | Pipelines are one of the most common systems for storing and transporting petroleum products, both liquid and gaseous. Despite durable structures, leaks can occur for many reasons, causing environmental disasters, energy waste and, in some cases, human loss. In recent years, pipelines are expected to be equipped with leak detection systems to monitor operations and detect leaks. While the leak detection methods in use today may not prevent leaks from occurring, they play a crucial role in limiting the impact of leaks. There are a wide variety of leak detection methods developed and tested. This article presents a bibliometric analysis to examine and evaluate global trends in research. The literature search was performed using the appropriate keywords and inclusion-exclusion criteria of the Scopus database. The extracted data were retrospectively analyzed and visualized using VOS viewer packages. |
