In article number 2204257, Oliver G. Schmidt, Mariana Medina‐Sánchez, and co‐workers report the development of 4D‐printed multifunctional sperm‐hybrid microcarriers containing soft and smart materials made with two‐photon lithography. These multifunctional facets enable in situ sperm capacitation/hyperactivation, and the local degradation of the cumulus complex that surrounds the oocyte, both to facilitate the sperm–oocyte interaction for the ultimate goal of in vivo assisted fertilization. |
