Zusammenfassung:Objective To explore the correlation and potential mechanism of plasma magnesium (Mg2+) concentration with blood lipids and uric acid. Methods The physical examination data of healthy population from September 2018 to May 2021 were collected from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University, and divided into two groups according to the plasma Mg2+ concentration (low Mg2+ group, ≤1.65 mmol/L; high Mg2+ group, >1.65 mmol/L). The differences of blood lipids and uric acid were compared between the two groups. Spearman correlation analysis was performed to analyze the correlation of plasma Mg2+ concentration and the metabolism of blood lipids and uric acid. Subgroups were set up according to gender and age, and based on the Comparative Toxicogenomics Database (CTD) and other disease-related databases, genes related to Mg2+ and dyslipidemia were extracted and matched, protein interaction (PPI) network was constructed, and gene ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) enrichmen
