Zusammenfassung: | Since 2020, Africa and the entire world have experienced socioeconomic challenges of alarming proportions owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. As the pandemic accelerated, socioeconomic damage increased in Africa and throughout the world, as did the number of causes and deaths. Although the curve of the pandemic is flattening gradually in some countries as COVID-19 waves ebb within and outside the continent, there are still pockets of rising infection in other countries, reflecting the emergence of variants such as Delta and Omicron. |
