A Letter From the Editors

Each time I open a new issue of the JEE and scan the Calendar of Events, I am amazed at the quantity and variety of experiential education-related professional conferences taking place around the world. There are conferences about service-learning, outdoor education, environmental education, risk management, challenge courses, physical activity and recreation, camping, and therapeutic recreation, to identify just a few; some conferences are specifically research- or practitioner-based, while other conferences combine both spheres.
