Zusammenfassung:Winkler et al talk about civil aviation. In the field of urban air mobility noise, researchers at the University of Cincinnati's Advanced Mobility Propulsion Lab conducted novel flow-field experiments on an electrically driven propulsor in March. The University of California, Davis extended the capabilities of the physics-based rotor broadband noise prediction tool UCD-QuietFly by coupling it with high-fidelity computational fluid dynamics under a Nov 2021 contract with Washington DC-based Supernal, with plans to develop low-noise propeller designs using this computational tool.
