2,4,6-TRIIODIDE-3-AMINOBENZOATE NICKEL COMPLEXES: SYNTHESIS, STRUCTURE AND NONCOVALENT INTERACTIONS IN THE SOLID STATE

Heteroleptic 2,4,6-triiodide-3-aminobenzoate (TriIABA) Ni(II) complexes [NiL 3 (H 2 O)(TriIABA) 2 ] (L = Py ( 1 ), 4-MePy ( 2 )) are prepared; their structure is determined by XRD. Both compounds exhibit non-covalent halogen-bond types of interaction in the solid state.
