Zusammenfassung:Unknown parameters of a distribution can be estimated using different methods of Estimation procedures. Estimations are often based on the complete information of the sample. But in reality, it is very much difficult to estimate the parameters on complete information of a big sample. In this paper, we discuss the estimation procedure of the Local Frequency Ratio Method of estimation for the log-normal distribution with only partial information of the sample. These local Information estimators are compared with the standard estimation procedures and found that there is not much difference between the complete information and the local information procedure developed which is the breakthrough of this paper.
