Zusammenfassung:Modern tools are currently changing the face of the business organization. Already manufacturing industries are implementing modern tools which are proving to be effective but the Construction industry is a bit hesitant to implement Digitalization as a tool that can revamp its reputation. Further, Construction sector should move from being inefficient and also change the history of delays and over-budget projects to the profit-making business. Despite knowing the fact that CRIP sector plays a huge role in driving our economy, this sector for years is lagged when it comes to digitalization. Thus, this paper mainly focuses on identifying the barriers to digitalization concerning contractor who is the one of the main stakeholders for implementation and how pandemic affected the digitalization in construction. A detailed questionnaire survey was conducted. The results of the respondents are further analyzed through descriptive analysis in SPSS and frequency charts used for interpretation. This research paper also focusses in giving recommendations so as to overcome the main barriers to some extent and can help them in implementing the digitalization tools which even after pandemic construction sector is unable to do so.
