Zusammenfassung:In this paper, design and analysis of a weeding robot is presented. Four design configurations developed using SolidWorks 2020 software is presented. The objective of this work is evaluation of the design configurations and selection of optimal design. Proposed optimal weeding robot design incorporates a cutter system placed at the periphery to facilitate cutting action in all types of weeds and small shrubs. In addition, modal and static structural analysis of the weeding robot chassis is performed. Analysis results demonstrate the stability of the chassis and the results are well within safety limits.
