Zusammenfassung: | Worldwide, approximately 900 million tonnes of concrete wastes were produced every year. The major contributor in these waste concrete is aggregate. This study shows usage of recycled aggregate in pervious concrete reduces the CO2 emission and embodied energy, by not disturbing the natural stone bed and fine aggregate. For this study debris concrete was collected from construction and residential areas. Pervious concrete is a special type of concrete which has a high porosity that allows water to pass through it. This concrete avoids reducing runoff from beside and recharges ground water level. By using Indian Concrete code, the water cement ratios range fixed are 0.35 and 0.42 respectively, the cement and recycled coarse aggregate ratio was fixed, with the aggregate size was taken more than 13.5mm to 20mm. The recycled aggregate is mixed with cement, 15% of fly ash, 5% of silica fume and 0.35% of polypropylene. Four mix designations were used in this study. For slump, eight numbers of samples were checked, with CPC0.42 achieves more slump. In the test of compressive strength, 12 cubes were cast and among the cubes CPCfsp0.35 attained high compressive strength among other specimens. The permeability was studied through the 4 specimen designations with 12 samples and in that CPCfsp0.35 increased permeability. |
