Zusammenfassung:The location of an emergency warehouse as a storage facility and distribution centre for humanitarian aid would greatly affect the accomplishment of disaster relief operations. The purpose of this research is to create an optimization model of the Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem using a Genetic Algorithm. The optimization model uses data from the National Disaster Management Authority (BNPB) Central Sulawesi Earthquake Management Report 2018. The alternative routes for distributing humanitarian aid from the proposed locations of disaster emergency warehouses are examined and the best location for the emergency warehouse is selected. Application of Genetic Algorithm and data analysis are conducted by using the Python 3 programming language. The costs for distributing humanitarian aid by taking available routes from the three proposed locations of the disaster emergency warehouse (G1, G2, and G3) are determined and compared. The study found that G3 (North Lolu, South Palu), with the coordinates: -0.90000, 119.88000 is the best possible emergency warehouse location and the area should be prioritized for the construction of the Palu City’s disaster emergency warehouse.
