Zusammenfassung: | This review is provided an overview of CdO synthesis, some properties and applications. Cadmium oxide (CdO) is a promising transparent conducting oxide (TCO) that belongs to the semiconductor group II to VI and has a lot of potential in optoelectronic devices. CdO is an n-type semiconductor because of its direct and indirect band gap energies. Physical and chemical methods are used to synthesis CdO in nanoscale. The structure of CdO nanoparticles is polycrystalline and cubic and it has various applications as solar cells, gas sensor, and medical treatment as targeting breast cancer cell. |
