Zusammenfassung: | This article presents the developed design of a planetary end milling cutter with increased productivity due to the provision of additional rotary motion of the cutting elements. The purpose of the planetary end milling cutter is to machine body parts made of aluminum alloys. A significant increase in cutting speed is provided in comparison with typical designs of end mills, productivity increases many times. It becomes possible to select and control cutting conditions in a wider range compared to conventional end mills by varying the position of the cutting edge of the carbide insert. The adopted design decisions are substantiated by kinematic and strength calculations. |
