Zusammenfassung:Surface quality is one of the key parameters in Multipoint Incremental Sheet forming (MPIF). This work focuses on finding the factors influencing surface quality in MPIF. Three different parameters namely speed, feed and step depth are considered for the study. The effects of the above input variables on surface quality was investigated by Taguchi’s design of experiments and finally the optimum input parameters combination for minimum surface roughness is found. The most influencing parameter is found to be step depth followed by speed and feed. The findings were validated by a confirmation test.
