Zusammenfassung: | The performance of an externally pressurized gas journal bearing lubricated with R134a vapor used in an oil-free refrigeration centrifugal compressor is calculated by solving Reynold equations with the finite difference method (CFD). The load capacity, stiffness and mass flow rate of refrigerant vapor under conditions of various operational parameters are obtained and compared with that in air gas bearings. In addition, the influences of the average clearance, eccentricity ratios and supply vapor pressure on the static characteristics of journal bearings are investigated and discussed in detail. It concluded that the optimal operation parameters of gas journal bearings lubricated with R134a vapor are different with air journal bearings. These factors should be considered in the design process of R134a refrigerant vapor gas journal bearings. |
