Zusammenfassung:We present new technological and structural methods for improving the fretting-corrosion characteristics of press-fit joints used in shipbuilding. A shaft–hub press-fit joint of improved design is developed and experimentally tested. This design makes it possible to increase its operating reliability and fatigue life of the joint in natural seawater.
