Zusammenfassung: | The most common form of graphene in biological science is graphene oxide (GO), which is also the only graphene family of nanomaterials. that necessarily requires a thorough investigation of their biocompatibility as well as a thorough understanding of their cellular interactions by in vivo study. By using Sixty adult male mice which divided into five groups (control ,40 mg/kg, 80mg/kg, 120 mg/kg and 200mg/kg) Except the control group, other groups were given graphene oxide nanoparticles (GONPs) with the mention concentrations. In the current study, toxicity of GONPs was investigate after intraperitoneal injection. The result of current study showed there is mild effect on the animal’s body weight as well as different effects on the components of blood, that appear in hematological indices such as Hematocrit (Hct), Hemoglobin (Hgb), white blood Cell (WBC), Red Blood Corpuscles (RBC) and platelets (PLT). We can conclude that there are different harmfully effects form graphene oxide on the animal model and according to that on human, Thus the using of graphene oxide should be limited and used specific documented concentration to reduce its unfavorable effects. |
