Zusammenfassung:Simple spectrophotometric sensitive ,Eco-Friendly method has been recognized to estimation of Trimethoprim (TMP) in its tablet formulations and pure form . The proposed method is designed built on the reaction with Co(II) cation by coupling cloud point extraction (CPE) and UV-Vis spectrophotometry. The complex which can be extracted into Triton X-114 at λ=418 nm. The data analytical attained throughout this process as follow : Beer′s law is conformed over the concentration range of (0.75-9) μg ml-1, both detection and quantification limits are 0.132 , 0.384 µg ml-1 respectively. The (r) for the calibration curve was found to be 0.9994, molar absorptivity of 13848.26 L.mol -1.cm-1 , and S index of 0.0209 µg.cm-2. Standard addition and direct procedures were applied for standards of pharmaceutical and the results show that the proposed method was positively applied for the determination of TMP.
