18.1: Invited Paper: Large‐Area Low‐Cost MicroLED TV Displays

This paper reviews a solution for developing the ultimate monolithic displays for TV. The displays made with this solution can offer 2–3 times lower power consumption compared to OLED, high brightness and no burn‐in issue. The cost of the displays can be competitive with existing OLED displays.
