Zusammenfassung:The products of shot blasting (shot blasting dust (SBD)) of Al–V master alloy ingots are certified. The data on the phase and chemical composition and the morphology and size distribution of stripping products are used to fabricate compacted samples of a powder mixture of aluminum and SBD. The samples are annealed at temperatures of 750 and 1050°C in an argon atmosphere, and electron-microscopic and X-ray diffraction analyses are carried out. After annealing, a 95 wt % Al + 5 wt % SBD pellet sample is found to contain only metallic phases, namely, 49.9% Al, 31.9% Al 45 V 7 , 14.3% Al 3 V, and 3.9% Fe 4 Al 13 , which indicates the prospects of using SBD for adjusting the conditions of producing aluminum-matrix composite materials.
