Zusammenfassung:Aim and Objectives: This study was conducted with the objective to reconnoiter the utilization pattern of various medications in obstetrics and gynecological postoperative cases for assessment of various medications prescribed, their route of administration, their duration of use, and the World Health Organization (WHO) core drug indicators. Drug Utilization; Post-operative; Obstetrics and Gynecology INTRODUCTION Drug utilization studies are defined by the World Health Organization (WHO) as studying the marketing, distribution, prescription, and use of medicinal products in a society, with special emphasis on the resulting medical, social and economic consequences. [4,7,8] There are very few studies that describe the utilization of drugs postoperatively for obstetrics and gynecology cases. [...]this study was conducted with the objective to reconnoiter the utilization pattern of various medications in obstetrics and gynecological post-operative cases. The data was collected as per the study pro forma which comprised of all the participant details including age, type of surgery done, different type of medications prescribed, and their route of administration, along with the duration of treatment and hospital stay.
